Officials from four counties, including Carteret, will join for meetings to address the opioid crisis March 6 at the Havelock Tourist & Event Center.
Groups associated with the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, based at UNC-Chapel Hill, will hold two multicounty meetings that day to gather information to develop policies that help address the state’s opioid crisis and share information regarding the $1.5 billion national opioid settlement that North Carolina is receiving. Officials from Carteret, Craven, Jones and Pamlico counties will be involved in the gathering.
