David Pontius received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining WindRose Health Investors in 2008, David worked in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group of Oppenheimer & Co. (formerly CIBC World Markets), where he focused on strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions and public and private company financings.

David currently serves on the board of directors of Healthmap Solutions, Shearwater Health, Traditions Behavioral Health. David formerly served on the board of directors of AGS Health, MDsave, Ovation Fertility, TrustHCS, Woodbury Health Products, and Workplace Options. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Stamford Hospital Foundation in Connecticut.
