Mark Piegore was born in Coral Springs, Florida, but has lived in Raleigh, NC since he was 3 years old. He graduated from Elon University with a B.S. in Biology. Prior to graduate school, Mark worked as a Lab Manager in a hematology research lab at UNC School of Medicine. During the summer of 2019, he interned at UNC Health Care in the strategic planning department, and hopes to stay in the healthcare industry throughout his career. Outside of school, Mark enjoys playing/watching sports, traveling, and hanging out with his fiancé and their dog.
